As a result of the continuous support from the leading organizations in Malaysia, Singapore, ASEAN, Asia and Africa, and the constant enhancements in the delivery of contents matching the evolving industry needs in Learning & Mindset 5.0, we are grateful and greatly humbled by the prestigious 2021 ASOCIO EdTech Award. Our ELD courses are led by the Chief Instructor, TAN Chee Peng, and supported by a team of instructors including Joyce WONG.

DUALITY 5.0

If we never experience the chill of a dark winter, it is very unlikely that we will ever cherish the warmth of a bright summer’s day. In order to eat, we have to be hungry. In order to learn, we have to be ignorant. The finite in us may yet be infinite.

Is the strong-weak S-duality the mirror image of weak-strong W-duality? Did the fire eat the wood, or it was the wood that reached out to the flame? Is innovation therefore the same old, same old in reverse?

If 4IR/i40 is machine-centric while 5IR/i50 is human-centric, and that 5IR/i50 is a more cognitive 4IR/i40, does it follow that this new wave of resilient sustainability will make a more humane machine-centricity or a more robotic human-centricity? If the best of BOTH WORLDS is the objective, then the monism of human-robot convergence will yield the endgame where ROBOT will replace human?


INDUSTRY 5.0

Industry 5.0 is here and now. Traditionally, organizations which have great leaders are more able to anticipate emerging challenges, more inspiring in leading the organizational changes and more successful in translating strategies into realities. We are living in exponential times where intensifying changes occur at an exponential speed:

a. The estimated 4 exabytes of unique information to be generated now exceed the previous 5,000 years (digital sobriety)

b. Fortune survey found that just 10% of well-planned talent management programmes will prepare the upskilling of the desired Future 5.0 Leaders (unprepared workforce)

c. The dominant emergence of GenZ/GenC, by 2025, will shape the Future of Work, marking the dawn of a new civilization (future of mankind).

While jobs are destroyed, there are instances of larger job creation. The Great Resignation doesn’t seem to stop and pose the larger question of filling up existing voids. The answer needs to be the triumph of hope over fear. How we respond now – the Line in the Sand – will baseline our future growth and successes.

Industry 5.0 ecosystem, in the context of Africa5.0, Asia5.0 & World5.0, must respond to the megatrends of futuristic digital transformation which are causing profound shifts across all industries. Accelerated effort is required, since most companies are estimated to be at Industry 2.5/3.5, to focus on bridging the gap, leveraging on the unknown and yet constantly emerging and meaningful exponential human technologies.

Customers want a unique experience, forcing businesses to understand their individual pains and tailor products/services specific to what they need, providing Total Experience (Tx) with hyper personalization.

Successful businesses anticipate change, develop bespoke digital products in the Digital Factory with agility and maximise their business growth. The greater answer lies in how we deal with such combinatorial growth-challenge dynamics:
